Q Film Fest A Rousing Success
On Sunday, June 7 from 4 to 8 p.m., the GLBT community is invited to Monterey Hills Restaurant, 3700 Ramona Blvd., Monterey Park. The Long Beach Community Business Network, Specialty Restaurants and San Gabriel Valley Pride, Inc. have joined forces to produce a monthly opportunity for the whole community to meet in a supportive environment.
Families, seniors, youth, couples, singles, politicos, spiritualists, people of faith and supportive friends are all invited to celebrate the Pride season. Much more than a celebration is the invitation to network, talk to, and learn about/from each other and grow in our sense of community.
This is not a fundraiser, this is not a recruitment. This is a gathering of the clan, a social meeting, and all are welcome. Plans are to make this a monthly event that allows us to acknowledge advances and successes that provides a place for networking and discussing those areas which we need to focus upon.
