Church of the Foothills Announces New Worship Time
Church of the Foothills, an emerging, progressive Christian church, is pleased to announce that, effective March 7th, Sunday Worship Services will begin at 9:00AM. This change will allow for a number of exciting new classes to be offered at 11:00AM, following fellowship. Church of the Foothills welcomes and includes all people of every ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, economic status or religious background.
Church of the Foothills is located in Tustin Hills at the intersection of Dodge Avenue and Newport Blvd, across from Foothill High School. The church address is 19211 Dodge Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, and phone number (714) 544-1319.
Church of the Foothills (ChOTF) has been “Open and Affirming” of the LGBT community for many years, and offers monthly LGBT fellowships, with a variety of exciting events planned. Additionally, Church of the Foothills was profiled in the Orange County Register for performing one of the first legal same-gender church weddings in Orange County and provides ceremony services for committed couples.
A dynamic and progressive church affiliated with both the United Church of Christ and the Disciples of Christ, ChOTF offers a variety of opportunities for mission, service and fellowship, with Sunday worship currently at 9:30 AM. However, beginning on March 7th, Sunday worship services will start at 9:00AM. OutSpirit Discussion & Potluck
The LGBT social group of Church of the Foothills is very pleased to announce the formation of a new gathering for spiritual enrichment: the OutSpirit Discussion & Potluck. These meetings are geared towards those in the LGBT community, as well as our friends and allies and are envisioned as a freewheeling evening where folks of any/all religious/spiritual beliefs can share their ideas and thoughts on a variety of topics. These will occur every other month, preceded by a potluck. The next one is Thursday March 25, at 6:30 p.m. in Orange. Bring s dish to share, and an adventurous spirit!
The topic of discussion will be the call to forgiveness, and how we live that call in the face of oppression.

Monthly Social Brunch Goes to Rutabegorz in Tustin on March 7
The LGBT social group of Church of the Foothills invites you to join them at their fun monthly Brunch social, which takes place on the first Sunday of each month, following fellowship, at noon.
The March 7 brunch will be held at Rutabegorz in Tustin, and is a great opportunity for those seeking a progressive Christian church to meet other LGBT church members, allies and friends.
