ATO Invites You to Come “Out at the Movies”
The Board of Directors of Long Beach’s newest non-profit organization, Artful Thinking Organization (ATO), a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to benefiting those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer or HIV, proudly announce their upcoming premier event titled Out at the Movies™.
The evening fun, scheduled for Thur., March 25, from 8:45 to 10:45 p.m., will be held at the newly restored Art Theatre at 2025 E. Fourth St., Long Beach.
Admission to the event is $10 per person and includes admission to one of Here! Film’s newest features called Misconceptions.
According to Here! Films this new release focuses on a religiously conservative, married southern woman who receives a message from God instructing her to act as a surrogate mother for a married gay couple. All hell breaks loose when one of the dads shows up unexpectedly and refuses to leave. It’s a hilarious look into the lives of three people tied together forever by one very small thing.
ATO is proud to partner with Here! Films and the Art Theatre on this exciting premier movie night while raising funds and awareness for the prevention of HIV and breast cancer.
The kickoff event will feature live entertainment beforehand as well as full availability of theatre concessions for purchase including beer and wine for those over 21 years of age.
